According to this article from Social Media & Marketing Daily, hotels are deciding when to raise prices based on reputation on social media. What are you thoughts on this practice? Is it ethical?

Social Media Today posted this article about company’s raising prices. Raising prices is a normal part of business, but how a company handles doing so is a different story.

Have you noticed either your assigned or selected client using social media to alert their followers/customers of price increases or changes in policies, products, etc.? If you worked for either company how would you alert your customers/followers of changes in prices, etc.?
