Many of you may have heard about the global outages that BlackBerry users have experienced recently. In this story, http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/17/tech/mobile/blackberry-free-apps/index.html?hpt=hp_bn6, it tells of BlackBerry’s “peace offering” for the troubles encountered. The company is going to offer free apps, rather than money for consumer troubles.

In your opinion, will this cause any public relations issues for BlackBerry? If any case, do you think BlackBerry is doing enough to placate their customers? If you worked for the company, what would you suggest they do in order to satisfy customers?
